Curriculum
The CoF Preschool program offers a high-quality early learning opportunity using the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress (ECIPS), Minnesota’s early learning standards. Preschool classrooms use the core elements of the Creative Curriculum, a research-based curriculum that features exploration, inquiry and discovery to guide learning. Teaching staff develop units of inquiry based on students interests to make learning meaningful.
OUR PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM FOCUSES INCLUDE:
- Personal & Social Development

In addition to utilizing the creative curriculum program, PLSAS uses Second Step® which is a tool to support self-regulation and social-emotional skills as well as The Pyramid Model Consortium. The Pyramid Model is a positive behavioral intervention and support (PBIS) framework that uses systems-thinking and implementation science to promote evidence-based practices.
