Erin Metoxen
Assistant Director of Early Learning

I am truly honored to become part of the Prior Lake -Savage community, I am excited for the opportunity to work with students, families, staff and our community stakeholders. The Early Learning program is a unique and special place to work. 

I started my career in education in 1992 and I have served in the area of School Administration since 2004.  I earned my bachelor’s degree from Bemidji State before teaching in Japan for 2 years. I then went on to pursue my Master of Education degree at the University of Minnesota. In addition, I received my Administrative Licenses at St. Mary’s University. I see myself as a lifelong learner and believe strongly in continuing education. My passion has been, and always will be, in putting children first. 

I live in Eagan with my partner Carl and I am the parent of two amazing kids, Hana and Axel. I enjoy running and practicing yoga when I can. You will often find me outside in nature, reading a good book or just hanging with my family.
